Privacy Policy for Likhit

Likhit (“the app”) is a tarot reading app published by Welton Ventures Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information the app uses and how.

We keep it simple: Likhit has no account and no login, and most of your activity stays entirely on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not ask for or collect any of your personal details, including:

  • Name, email address, or phone number

  • Contacts or photos

  • Precise location

  • There is no sign-up process and no user profile.

Information Stored Only On Your Device

The following data is saved strictly within your device’s local storage:

  • Your tarot readings and personal journal

  • Your daily drawn card

  • App settings (such as language, theme, and reminder preferences)

⚠️ Important Note: We do not upload this data to our servers. There is no cloud account, syncing, or backup feature in this version of the app. Deleting the app will permanently remove all of this data from your device.

AI Readings

When you type a question and request an AI-generated reading, the system processes it as follows:

  1. Secure Transmission: The text of your question is sent over a secure connection (HTTPS) to our processing service operated on Cloudflare, which then forwards it to Google’s Gemini AI to generate the reading.

  2. Data Privacy: We use a paid API tier, meaning your questions are never used to train AI models.

  3. Anonymity: Because the app does not use accounts, your name, identity, or profile is never attached to these requests.

  4. Anti-Abuse Handling: Our processing service does not store the content of your question. It temporarily checks your device’s IP address solely to prevent abuse and enforce request rate limits.

  5. Local Save: The question and the resulting reading are returned and saved only in your local journal on your device.

If you choose not to use the AI reading feature, no question text will ever leave your device.

Advertising

The app displays advertisements through Google services (Google Ad Manager and AdMob).

  • Ad Personalization: To serve relevant ads, Google may process your device’s advertising identifier alongside standard device and ad-interaction analytics.

  • Consent Frameworks: Upon first launch (and where legally required), we request your explicit permission via the Google Consent Form and, on iOS devices, the Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

  • User Control: You can modify or withdraw your ad personalization consent at any time via your device settings. On iOS, you can choose to decline tracking entirely.

  • Interruption-Free Rituals: Advertisements are strictly prohibited from appearing during the reading ritual itself.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We utilize Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app health:

  • Aggregate Insights: This helps us analyze general, aggregated usage trends (e.g., determining which screens are opened most frequently).

  • Diagnostics: We receive anonymous crash logs and error diagnostics to help patch bugs and improve stability.

  • This metadata includes standard device identifiers, adheres strictly to your explicit consent choices, and is never used to identify you personally.

Notifications

If you enable the optional Daily Reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your machine to remind you to draw your card.

  • These reminders are generated locally by your operating system and do not transmit any data back to us.

  • You can toggle this feature off at any time via the app settings or your system notifications menu.

Third-Party Services

Likhit relies on trusted external infrastructure providers whose independent privacy policies apply to the specific data they process:

  • Google: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Ad Manager, AdMob, and the Gemini AI API.

  • Cloudflare: Secure edge routing network utilized to safely forward AI requests.

Children’s Privacy

Likhit is not targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children.

Data Security

We mandate secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmitted by the app and rely on the rigorous security protocols of our cloud infrastructure partners. While no digital transmission or data storage method can be guaranteed 100% secure, we apply industry-standard measures to protect what limited data passes through our stack.

Your Choices

  • Manage Ad IDs: Reset or limit personalized tracking identifiers inside your device’s OS settings.

  • App Tracking Transparency: Decline tracking prompts when launching the app on iOS.

  • Toggle Alerts: Switch off daily card reminders whenever you prefer within the settings.

  • Purge Data: Completely erase all local app history and journal entries by uninstalling the app from your device.
