Cronnote (by Welton Ventures) helps you keep personal recurring obligations — appointments, rent, bills, pet meds — as reminders with their history. Cronnote is a personal, single-user app: your data is yours.

Account & sign-in

Cronnote requires you to sign in with your Google or Apple account (there is no anonymous mode). We use your account only to identify you and sync your own data across your devices. With Apple you may use Hide My Email.

Data we store (to run the app for you)

Stored in Google Firebase (project welton-suite-prod), accessible only to your signed-in account:

  • Your reminders and notes — titles, dates, schedules, statuses, and notes you write.

  • Photos you attach (e.g. an appointment slip or payment slip) — in Firebase Storage.

  • Your email address — from Google/Apple sign-in; your identity and (optionally) email reminders.

  • Device info for notifications — a push token per device to send your reminders.

  • Home timezone & language — so reminders fire at the right local time and language.

Crash diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous crash reports to fix problems. Not linked to your identity, not used for tracking.

What we do NOT do

  • No advertising and no advertising identifier.

  • No product analytics / behavioural tracking.

  • No location collection.

  • No selling or sharing your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Optional connections you control

  • Google Calendar — if connected, Cronnote mirrors your reminder dates into a calendar it creates (“Cronnote”) and reads your calendars to show busy days in the picker. Disconnect anytime in Settings; governed by Google’s terms.

  • Email reminders — if enabled per item, sent to your sign-in email via our provider (Resend). Off by default.

Notifications

Delivered by on-device notifications and an hourly server job (Firebase Cloud Functions) sending push (and optional email). Never used for marketing.

Your rights & deleting your data

Delete your account and all data anytime in Settings -> Delete account (permanently erases your reminders, notes, photos, and account from our servers). Export first (JSON/CSV/.ics) from Settings if you wish.

Children

Not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are posted here with a new effective date.
